Field Observations

Cobblestone and Quiet Wood

Poland carries its layered history in tactile surfaces: damp lime plaster in Kazimierz, rain-darkened pine beams throughout Zakopane, and the lingering bronze glow of autumn across the Vistula riverbanks.

Each exposure was made without synthetic lighting, allowing the overcast skies and low northern sun to reveal subtle textures across centuries of continuous European craft.
